Cranberry Lake Cottages is a small, quiet, family-run property offering four clean, well-maintained housekeeping cottages in a peaceful lakeside setting. Many of our guests return year after year to enjoy the serenity, friendly atmosphere, and excellent fishing that Cranberry Lake is known for.

Our small size and personal approach allow us to provide a truly relaxing and enjoyable cottage experience—one that is increasingly hard to find.

A Peaceful Lakeside Setting

We are located just 30 minutes north of Kingston, Ontario, on a beautiful south-facing peninsula on Cranberry Lake, part of the historic Rideau Canal System. Our location offers calm waters, scenic views, and easy access to boating and fishing throughout the Rideau system.

Cranberry Lake Cottages is best suited for guests seeking a quiet, respectful, and relaxed environment. Our property is not intended for parties or large gatherings.

Fishing, Boating & Water Activities

Cranberry Lake is known as a prime bass fishing destination, and fishing is a major reason many of our guests return year after year.

We offer a private, secure boat launch with dock space for up to four boats, allowing boats to remain in the water safely for the duration of your stay.

In addition to fishing, guests enjoy kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, swimming, or simply relaxing by the water. Many guests enjoy catching their fresh dinner on the lake—or right from the dock.

Family-Run & Direct Booking Only

We are a family-run business and take pride in maintaining a calm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

We are not listed on Airbnb or other short-term rental platforms. All reservations are handled directly with us, allowing us to get to know our guests and preserve the peaceful environment our long-time visitors appreciate.

The majority of our guests are returning visitors, many of whom have been coming for years.

Booking Information

Check-in is at 3:00 p.m., with check-out at 10:00 a.m.
To maintain a peaceful and consistent experience for our guests, we offer weekly rentals only and do not accommodate short-term stays.

As a family-run business, we appreciate guests letting us know their approximate arrival time whenever possible. This helps us prepare each cottage thoroughly for your arrival. If needed, we may be able to accommodate schedule adjustments—please feel free to ask.

We generally book one year in advance, and returning guests are given the right of first refusal for their preferred week. Available weeks are posted once they are released.
